Lipstick
- If you are not fortunate
to have full lips, wear the lightest, frostiest
lipsticks
you can find. They will cause your lips to look
fuller. Follow with Sacha
Cosmetics lipgloss.
- To prevent lipstick from getting
on your teeth, put your finger in your mouth and
close your lips-when you withdraw your finger it
will remove excess color.
- You should use Sacha’s
Vitamin E Lip Protector before application of any
type of lipstick. It moisturizes and nourishes the
lips preventing dryness and cracking.
- To create your own smudge-resistant
lipstick blot your lips with one sheet of twoply
tissue. Re-apply lipstick and blot again. This will
absorb the oils in the product and leave the pigment
and matte waxes.
- If you are over 40 we advise
that you should avoid wearing matte lipsticks. You
will look best with a little shine on your lips.
Our makeup artists recommend that you always use a lip
liner since it builds a dam that keeps the lipstick
from ‘bleeding’.
- To remove lipstick from clothing,
apply glycerine on the spot, rub lightly and wash
as normal.
- No matter what color lipstick
you choose ,apply lip liner to the outline and fill
in your lips. You can then follow with a gloss or
lipstick. When wearing a red lipstick, use a brown
lip liner all over first as the red pigment will
last longer.
- A great way to organize your
lipsticks or use up the end of your lipstick is
to dig out or cut off a chunk of lip color and place
it in a lipstick palette case.
- Please DO NOT wear black or
green lipstick (unless it is for halloween or some
party).
- If you see any liquid or water
coming out of the lipstick, keep it in a refrigerator.
- Avoid using very old lipsticks.
They might cause pigmentation of the lips
Lipgloss
- Apply lip gloss over lipstick
or alone. Remember that gloss would emphasize and
therefore make your lips appear to be fuller.
- Women with extra-full lips,
should use lip gloss very sparingly.
Lip
Liner
- If lip liner is too dark tone
it down with a small amount of foundation then reapply
lip liner.
- Always use lip liner before
and after applying lipstick to define the lips.
- Always sharpen your lip liner
before lining your lips then touch the tip of the
pencil gently to warm, soften and smooth the point.
- NEVER wear lip liner and lipstick
colors together when they are contrasting colors.
- When applying lipstick, fill
in your lips with a lip liner first. By this way
the second coat of lipstick stays longer.
- No matter what color lipstick
you choose ,apply lip liner to the outline and fill
in your lips. You can then follow with a gloss or
lipstick. When wearing a red lipstick, use a brown
lip liner all over first as the red pigment will
last longer.
